If you feel like the unexpected just keeps happening, you’re not alone! In this episode, Katie talks to Courtney Brockmeyer, the founder of the Sydney Paige Foundation. The Sydney Paige Foundation provides backpacks and school supplies to children of families that couldn’t otherwise afford them. With a focus on quality products that built students’ confidence and upheld their dignity, the Foundation was soaring…And then the pandemic hit. Courtney shares how her organization pivoted and how we can all be better prepared for the next once-in-a-lifetime situation.

Meet Courtney Brockmeyer!

Courtney Brockmeyer is the founder and CEO of the Sydney Paige Foundation and Sydney Paige, Inc., a non-profit and a buy one/give one social enterprise, respectively, dedicated to helping at-risk kids break the cycle of poverty. Courtney has grown the organization, named after her two daughters, by developing collaborative partnerships across commercial and non-profit business models in order to fuel and extend the reach and positive impact of equal access to the foundational tools needed to succeed in school and life. Prior to Sydney Paige, Courtney spent 10 years at Nestle USA in business management. She graduated from Pepperdine University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
